Introduction: A Normal Life With A Hidden Secret
Kajal lives in Mumbai with her elder sister Rajni. To outsiders, they appear to be a normal family. Living nearby is Kajal’s close friend Pooja, who shares a strong bond with her. However, Kajal has been hiding something deep inside — a truth she has been afraid to share.
Kajal’s Confession to Pooja
One day, Pooja reveals that her family will soon leave Mumbai. Realizing she may lose her only friend, Kajal finally gathers courage. She confesses that Rajni is not her real sister. In fact, Kajal doesn’t remember how she came into Rajni’s life. She also shares recurring dreams — a village scene where girls are dancing, and a middle-aged woman playing a drum. These dreams feel like fragments of her forgotten past.
Suspicion of Child Labour
Shocked by the revelation, Pooja tells her mother. This raises a serious concern — is Kajal being held as a domestic worker? Pooja’s mother suspects this could be a case of child labour or illegal captivity. Determined to help, she contacts an NGO worker and child labour activist.
Police Investigation Begins
The matter is soon escalated to the police. An investigation begins to uncover the truth:
- Is Kajal really related to Rajni?
- If not, where did she come from?
- Is she being forced into domestic work?
The case slowly unfolds, revealing emotional layers and shocking realities.

11 साल की काजल मुंबई में अपनी बड़ी बहन रजनी के साथ रहती है। उसकी दोस्त पूजा उससे बहुत करीब है। एक दिन पूजा बताती है कि वो जल्द ही मुंबई छोड़ने वाली है। तब काजल उसे एक बड़ा सच बताती है — वो रजनी की असली बहन नहीं है और उसे याद नहीं कि वो उसके पास कैसे आई। काजल को बार-बार सपने आते हैं जिनमें एक गाँव, कुछ लड़कियाँ और एक औरत दिखाई देती है। पूजा की माँ को शक होता है कि कहीं काजल को जबरदस्ती नौकरानी बनाकर तो नहीं रखा गया है। वो NGO और पुलिस की मदद लेती है, जिसके बाद मामले की जांच शुरू होती है।
