Jalandhar police discover the dead body of a young man on the outskirts of the city. They find his wallet near the body, containing an Aadhaar Card identifying him as Rahul Mathur (played by Nishant Singh). Police visit the address mentioned on the Aadhaar Card and ask Rahul’s mother and younger brother to come to the hospital. Upon seeing Rahul’s body in the mortuary, both break down in grief.
Rahul’s mother tells the police that he had been in contact with a girl for quite some time and often spoke with her on the phone. During the investigation, police examine his call records and discover a number registered in the name of the girl’s father. The police then question Komal, her brother, and her father.
पुलिस को सुनसान इलाके में एक युवक की लाश मिलती है। इलाके की तलाशी लेने पर उसका खाली पर्स पास ही पड़ा मिलता है और पर्स में उसका आधार कार्ड मिलता है, जिसमें उसका नाम राहुल माथुर लिखा होता है। आधार कार्ड पर लिखे पते के अनुसार पुलिस राहुल माथुर के घर पहुंचती है और उसकी माँ व छोटे भाई को अस्पताल आने के लिए कहती है। अस्पताल के मुर्दाघर में राहुल की लाश देखकर माँ और बेटा बुरी तरह टूट जाते हैं।
राहुल की माँ पुलिस को बताती है कि राहुल पिछली शाम सीतापुर (उत्तर प्रदेश) के लिए निकला था, लेकिन उसके साथ यह हादसा स्टेशन से इतनी दूर कैसे हो गया, यह समझ से परे है। वह यह भी बताती हैं कि राहुल काफी समय से एक लड़की के संपर्क में था और उससे अक्सर फोन पर बात करता था। राहुल के कॉल रिकॉर्ड खंगालने पर पुलिस को एक फोन नंबर मिलता है, जिसकी जांच में पता चलता है कि यह नंबर उस लड़की कोमल के पिता का है, जिससे राहुल अक्सर बात करता था।
