Sanjay (real name Deepak Kumar, Sonepat, Haryana) was the only son of a farmer and helped his father with farming activities. He stayed in a room located on the farm so he could water the fields early in the morning. His parents were happy that their son had grown up and supported the family.
Everything was going well until one morning when Sanjay did not return home. His father went to check on him at the farm. He discovered that the fields had not been watered and the room door was open from the outside. When he entered the room, he found Sanjay lying dead in a pool of blood.
Sanjay had been shot with a double-barrel gun. Both shots had missed their intended target initially and left marks on the walls. Police began investigating and learned that Sanjay’s father had disputes with a business rival involved in the fruit and vegetable supply trade. Investigators also discovered that Sanjay was in love with a girl named Mahima from the same village and remained in regular contact with her by phone.
Who killed Sanjay, and why did he not resist when someone attacked him?
घटना इसी साल 21 फ़रवरी की है जब सोनीपत के मटिंडु गाँव में 18 वर्षीय युवक दीपक कुमार मृत पाया गया था। दीपक को राइफ़ल की गोली से मारा गया था। शक के आधार पर उसी दिन दीपक के पिता समुंद्र सिंह ने गाँव के ही सुधीर, चाचा जोगेंद्र उर्फ़ जग्गा और भतीजे राकेश व विकास के खिलाफ हत्या का मामला दर्ज कराया था। 22 फ़रवरी की सुबह जब पुलिस ने उनके घर पर दबिश दी तो सभी आरोपी फरार मिले।
समुंद्र सिंह का कहना था कि उनके बेटे दीपक का सुधीर की बेटी के साथ प्रेम संबंध था। उन्होंने स्वयं सुधीर को इस संबंध के बारे में बताया था ताकि वह अपनी बेटी को ऐसा करने से रोक सके। दोनों परिवारों ने अपने-अपने स्तर पर उन्हें समझाया और चेतावनी दी, लेकिन दोनों मिलते रहे।
दीपक की हत्या के अगले दिन उसकी नाबालिग़ प्रेमिका और उसकी बड़ी बहन की शादी होनी थी। जैसे ही गाँव में इस घटना की खबर फैली, बड़ी बेटी की दिल्ली से आने वाली बारात और छोटी बेटी की जींद से आने वाली बारात नहीं पहुँची। समुंद्र सिंह का आरोप था कि आरोपियों ने पहले दीपक को जान से मारने की धमकी दी थी और बाद में उसी धमकी को अंजाम दिया। Know more
