A man checked into Red Arch Hotel in Mumbai as “Rahul Malhotra” from Surat. He met a woman at the hotel bar and took her to room 203. The next morning, staff found her dead with her throat and wrists slit. Post-mortem revealed unnatural sex after murder. The victim was identified as Jigna Patel from Surat.

Jigna was married to Prafulla Patel. She had come to Mumbai alone by flight after her husband asked her to fulfill his “role-play fantasy” of her being a call girl and him a client. Prafulla drove to Mumbai, checked in as Rahul Malhotra using a fake driving license, killed her, and fled back to Surat. The waiter Banti secretly filmed the murder.
