Police discover the headless body of a woman. Constable Devjit Sodhi claims that the body belongs to his daughter, Aanchal Johal. According to him, the clothes found on the body also belong to Aanchal. He further tells the police that Aanchal was frequently beaten by her husband Rajeev, and she had become deeply troubled by his abusive behavior.

Aanchal’s parents identify the body as hers. However, Rajeev strongly denies murdering Aanchal and insists that the body does not belong to her. He claims that Aanchal was involved in a relationship with a rickshaw driver named Dinesh Pannu.
