Aditi Rawat’s uncle is a very strict man who strongly believes in traditional values. He feels that the girls in his family should live within certain limits. His daughter Sonali, however, had a more independent nature and left home a few years earlier to marry a man from another caste. After that incident, Sonali was never accepted back into the family home.
Meanwhile, Aditi becomes frightened after receiving repeated blank calls on her mobile phone. The unknown caller contacts her from different PCOs but never says anything. Because of her strict uncle, Aditi is afraid to discuss the matter with her family. She fears that if they find out, her uncle may stop her education. The only person she confides in is her college friend.
One day, Aditi suddenly goes missing. After her family files a missing complaint, the police discover that she had been in regular contact with a taxi driver named Shahid Baigh. Further investigation reveals that Shahid was in love with her.
A few days later, Aditi’s dead body is found in a deserted area of Kanpur. Police initially treat it as a blind murder case and publish her photographs in local newspapers. Sonali sees the news report and immediately reaches the police station, where she identifies Aditi’s body.
