Crime Patrol | Swindled: Fake police raids Surendra’s home and extort 5 lac rupees (Episode 375 on 30th May 2014)

Surendra Dalvi (real name Yashwant Ramchandra Chalke and played by Mazher Sayed) is a chartered accountant (CA) who runs his own business preparing documents related to housing societies and properties. He is honest in his work and avoids any illegal activity. Javed (real name Abdul Hameed Shaikh and played by Gyanendra Tripathi) is his secretary who helps him with the work.

One morning, Surendra is waiting for Javed while Javed’s cell phone is switched off. While waiting for him, three police officers arrive with Javed and raid Surendra’s home. They tell Surendra that they found fake property-related documents with Javed, which were allegedly prepared by Surendra, so they are conducting a raid. Surendra insists that he never made any forged documents. Javed claims that whatever he did was under Surendra’s instructions and that he himself is not involved in the matter.

On Surendra’s request, the police demand Rs. 4 lakh from him to avoid arrest. Surendra withdraws Rs. 40,000 from his savings account through an ATM and gives it to them. The police leave with Javed after taking the money. Later that night, Surendra receives a call from Javed saying that he is still in police custody and that the officers are demanding Rs. 8 lakh for his release. Javed sends his father to Surendra’s home, requesting help. Surendra takes a loan of Rs. 5 lakh from the market and gives it to Javed’s father.

After a few days, when Surendra goes to Javed’s home to recover his Rs. 5 lakh, Javed clearly refuses to return a single penny, claiming that he suffered because of Surendra.

सुरेन्द्र दलवी एक चार्टर्ड अकाउंटेंट है जो प्रॉपर्टी और हाउसिंग सोसाइटी से संबंधित कागज़ बनाता है। वह ईमानदारी से अपना काम करता है और गैरकानूनी कामों से दूर रहता है। उसके ऑफिस में उसका सेक्रेटरी जावेद है, जो काम-काज में उसकी मदद करता है.

एक सुबह सुरेन्द्र अपने घर पर जावेद का इंतज़ार कर रहा होता है, मगर वह आता नहीं है और उसका मोबाइल भी बंद है। काफी देर इंतज़ार करने के बाद तीन पुलिस वाले जावेद को पकड़कर सुरेन्द्र के घर आते हैं और बताते हैं कि जावेद के पास से प्रॉपर्टी के जाली कागज़ मिले हैं। उनका कहना होता है कि ये कागज़ सुरेन्द्र ने बनवाए हैं, इसलिए वे उसके घर की तलाशी लेने आए हैं। सुरेन्द्र लगातार कहता है कि उसने कोई भी जाली कागज़ नहीं बनाए। वहीं जावेद भी कहता है कि वह जो कुछ भी करता था, सुरेन्द्र के कहने पर करता था और उसका खुद का इसमें कोई हाथ नहीं है.

पुलिस मामले को दबाने के लिए चार लाख रुपये की मांग करती है। सुरेन्द्र के पास केवल 40,000 रुपये होते हैं, जो वह एटीएम से निकालकर पुलिस को दे देता है। पुलिस जावेद को लेकर चली जाती है। रात में जावेद का फोन आता है कि पुलिस वालों ने उसे अभी तक पकड़कर रखा है और वे आठ लाख रुपये की मांग कर रहे हैं। जावेद अपने पिता को सुरेन्द्र के घर पैसे का इंतज़ाम करने भेजता है। जावेद का पिता सुरेन्द्र से गिड़गिड़ाकर मदद मांगता है और पैसे लौटाने का वादा करता है। सुरेन्द्र मार्केट से लोन लेकर पांच लाख रुपये का इंतज़ाम करता है और जावेद को छुड़वाता है। मगर बाद में जब वह अपने पांच लाख रुपये वापस मांगने जावेद के घर जाता है, तो जावेद साफ मना कर देता है और कहता है कि वह सुरेन्द्र की वजह से फंसा था, इसलिए वह कोई पैसा वापस नहीं देगा।
