First Incident: Death of Deepak

According to reports, Anil Pateria killed Deepak on September 11, 2016, and disposed of the body in a canal. The case was initially registered as an accidental death.

However, Deepak’s cousin Sanjay grew suspicious and began questioning the circumstances surrounding the death. This raised concerns for Anil, who allegedly planned another crime to silence him.

With the help of his brother-in-law Raju, Anil killed Sanjay. Investigations also revealed the involvement of a woman named Sudha Sharma.

Police later connected Anil to earlier deaths as well, including Sanjay’s wife in 2009 and another relative in 2011.

Mohan Jaiswal Case: Suicide or Suspicious Death?

In a separate but equally concerning incident, Mohan Jaiswal, the only son of Pushpa, was found hanging in an isolated location. His friends discovered the body.

While the case initially appeared to be suicide, the presence of used alcohol glasses at the scene raised doubts.

During investigation, police uncovered that the family had already experienced multiple deaths:

• Neeta (2009)
• Arvind (2011)

These individuals were Mohan’s cousins, and their deaths had also been recorded earlier.

The situation became more complex when Mohan’s mother revealed that another relative, Prateek, had died just a month earlier under circumstances labeled as accidental.

Police examined call records and found links between several individuals:

• Rakesh Jaiswal
• Prateek
• Rahul

All of them were connected to a woman named Kamini, who was related to the family through marriage. Police then called Kamini and her husband Mukesh for questioning.
