करन और उसकी बहन मुक्ति, तथा रानी और उसकी बहन निशा मजदूर परिवारों से संबंध रखते हैं। वे रोज़ पास के एक सरकारी स्कूल में पढ़ने जाते हैं। एक सुबह वे स्कूल के लिए निकलते हैं, लेकिन वापस घर नहीं लौटते। उनके माता-पिता हर संभव जगह पर बच्चों को खोजते हैं, यहां तक कि स्कूल जाकर भी जानकारी लेते हैं, लेकिन कोई सुराग नहीं मिलता।

इसके बाद पुलिस में शिकायत दर्ज कराई जाती है। पुलिस भी बच्चों की तलाश में हर संभव प्रयास करती है, लेकिन कोई सफलता नहीं मिलती। जांच के दौरान यह पुष्टि हो जाती है कि बच्चे उस दिन स्कूल पहुंचे थे, लेकिन उसके बाद उनके बारे में किसी को कुछ पता नहीं है।

पुलिस विभिन्न स्थानों पर छापेमारी करती है और यह जानने की कोशिश करती है कि बच्चों को कौन और कहां ले गया होगा। यह मामला फिरौती का नहीं लगता, क्योंकि मजदूर परिवारों के बच्चों का अपहरण कर फिरौती मांगने की संभावना बहुत कम दिखाई देती है।

समय बीतता जाता है और जांच लंबी खिंच जाती है। इसी दौरान केस के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी इंस्पेक्टर गोयल का प्रमोशन और ट्रांसफर हो जाता है। हालांकि, उनके जाने से ठीक पहले पुलिस को एक महत्वपूर्ण सुराग मिलता है।

Missing children investigation in Haryana

Karan and his sister Mukti, along with Rani and her sister Nisha, belong to laborer families and attend a nearby government school. One morning, they leave for school but never return home. Their parents search everywhere for them, including the school, but are unable to find any trace of the children.

A police complaint is filed, and officers make every possible effort to locate the missing children. Investigators confirm that the children attended school on the day they disappeared, but no one knows what happened afterward.

The police conduct extensive searches and explore multiple possibilities. However, they find it difficult to believe that anyone would kidnap children from such economically disadvantaged families for ransom.

As the investigation drags on, Senior Inspector Goyal receives a promotion and transfer. Just before leaving the case, however, the police receive a crucial lead that could finally uncover the truth.
