Palghar, near Mumbai.
A 10-year-old girl named Kajal goes missing from her home. Her parents, Anita and Sunil Chaudhary, file a missing complaint at the police station. During the investigation, police discover shocking information — the real Sunil Chaudhary had died one and a half years earlier. Then who is this other man claiming to be Kajal’s father?

Anita tells the police that Kajal was playing outside the house with her friends and suddenly disappeared in the evening. Kajal’s friends say that they left for tuition classes around 4:30 PM and after that they do not know what happened to her.

Police launch an extensive search operation for Kajal. They search malls, hospitals, other police stations, child care homes, and even investigate possible human trafficking links through informers, but they remain clueless. Anita tells police that they had shifted from Fatehpur to Palghar a few months earlier and do not know anyone there. She also says that she has no relatives left in Fatehpur.

Then where did Kajal go and what was she doing at the railway station with those two women?

दस साल की काजल चौधरी एक रेलवे स्टेशन पर दो औरतों के साथ कहीं जा रही है। कौन हैं ये दो औरतें? काजल सुनील और अनीता की बेटी है। सुनील और अनीता फतेहपुर से पालघर कुछ समय पहले ही शिफ्ट हुए हैं और उनका यहाँ कोई जानने वाला नहीं है। अनीता और सुनील पुलिस स्टेशन में काजल के गुमशुदा होने की रिपोर्ट लिखवाते हैं। वो बताते हैं कि काजल शाम को घर के बाहर खेल रही थी फिर अचानक गायब हो गई और मिल नहीं रही है। काजल की दोस्त बताती है कि वो लोग साढ़े चार बजे ट्यूशन के लिए निकल गई थीं और उसके बाद से काजल का कोई पता नहीं है।

पुलिस छानबीन शुरू करती है तो पता चलता है कि काजल के पिता सुनील की तो डेढ़ साल पहले ही मृत्यु हो चुकी थी, फिर ये दूसरा सुनील कौन है। पुलिस अपने खबरियों को एक्टिवेट करती है। मॉल, चाइल्ड केयर होम्स, अस्पताल, ह्यूमन ट्रैफिकिंग से जुड़े लोगों और हर संभव जगह पता किया जाता है कि काजल की कोई खबर कहीं है या नहीं मगर कुछ पता नहीं चलता।
