An NRI couple returns from Dubai after their mother’s death and enters their home after a long time. The wife goes to the kitchen to make tea but finds a foul smell coming from the tap water, which is supplied from a water tank on the roof of the house.

Another couple, Kabeer and Sheetal, live on the upper floor, so this couple goes to meet them and ask where the smell is coming from, but their flat is locked. They find something suspicious and call the police. When the police arrive, they find a dead body floating inside the water tank. Police collect the couple’s contact details and call their maternal uncle for questioning.

एक NRI पतिपत्नी काफी समय बाद दुबई से अपने घर लौटते हैं। पत्नी चाय बनाने किचन में जाती है तो पाती है की नल के पानी से बहुत गन्दी महक आ रही है। नल का पानी ऊपर छत पर रखे टैंक से आता है।

दरअसल इसी मकान के ऊपरी माले पर पति-पत्नी कबीर और शीतल रहते थे। ये दंपत्ति उनसे मिलने ऊपर जाते हैं मगर उनका फ्लैट बंद है। उनको कुछ गलत होने का शक होता है इसलिए वो पुलिस को बुलाते हैं। जब पुलिस आती है तो पाती है की छत पर रखे टैंक में एक डेड-बॉडी पड़ी हुई है। पुलिस ऊपर रहने वाले पति-पत्नी के कांटेक्ट नंबर्स लेती है और तफ्तीश शुरू करते हुए सबसे पहले उनके मामा को पूछताछ के लिए बुलाती है।
