गुजरात के राजकोट शहर में जमीन के दलाल जयदीप की हत्या कर दी गई। उसके एक साथी को धमकी भरा फोन आया कि अगर उसकी निगाहें वापस नहीं लौटीं तो अगले दिन वह उसे आवाज़ देगा।
जयदीप एक भ्रष्ट रियल एस्टेट एजेंट था। उसके कई दुश्मन थे। पुलिस जांच में पता चला कि जयदीप का निजी अंगरक्षक बीरा हत्या से दो दिन पहले अचानक गायब हो गया था। बीरा के जाने के बाद से जयदीप का मूड बहुत खराब था।
पुलिस ने जयदीप के बचपन के दोस्त शैलेश से पूछताछ की। शैलेश ने बताया कि जयदीप बहुत अहंकारी हो गया था। वह अपने कर्मचारियों को गालियाँ देता और थप्पड़ मारता था। कई लोग उससे नफरत करते थे।
जांच में एक और नाम सामने आया – रशिक। जयदीप ने रशिक को अपमानित किया था और उसके पैसे हड़प लिए थे। रशिक ने बदला लेने की ठान ली।
