(घात)
Payal and Varun love each other and want to get married. Varun’s parents support their relationship, but Payal’s parents oppose their marriage because Varun belongs to a different caste. Payal’s parents arrange her marriage to another man, but she wants to escape from it.
Payal decides to marry Varun against her parents’ wishes. With the help of their friends, they get married in a temple. After the wedding, they arrive at Varun’s home. His parents have no objection to their marriage, but Payal’s parents decide to teach her a lesson. They visit Varun’s home and request that he send Payal back with them so they can arrange a grand engagement and wedding ceremony. Payal senses that something is wrong but agrees to go with them.
A couple of days after returning home, Payal calls Varun and tells him that she feels uneasy. She suspects that her parents are planning something behind her back. She asks Varun to come and take her away, but he reassures her that nothing is wrong and that her parents simply want to arrange the wedding properly.
A few days later, Varun tries to call Payal, but her phone is switched off. When he reaches her home, he finds nobody there.
