The story revolves around Nisha (played by Sonal Bandekar) and Rohit (played by Naresh Morwal), two MSc students in Pune who have developed a close relationship. One day, Nisha does not return home as expected. Her phone is switched off, and Rohit also becomes unreachable. Soon afterward, an explicit video featuring Nisha is shared in her research group. Her face is clearly visible, while the other person’s face is concealed. Her friends immediately become suspicious, believing that Nisha would never willingly share such private material. They begin to wonder whether the video could have been manipulated using AI.
Police go to Rohit’s rented flat, but the door is locked. Initially, they consider the possibility that the two may simply have gone somewhere. The situation changes when a neighbor reports a foul smell coming from the flat. Police enter and make a shocking discovery: Nisha’s body is inside.
With Rohit missing and having been the last person seen with Nisha, suspicion quickly falls on him. Investigators begin examining CCTV footage, call records, phone locations and forensic evidence. His calm behavior in surveillance footage raises further questions. At the same time, his relationship with Nisha reveals another side of the case.
The couple had experienced tension several months earlier. Rohit’s growing insecurity over Nisha’s male friends and her personal choices had created conflict. Nisha eventually asked for space, while Rohit repeatedly tried to repair the relationship. Yet his final social media posts suggested that he still considered Nisha the center of his life.
As investigators trace Rohit’s movements and search for him, a crucial question remains unanswered: how could a relationship that appeared to be built on love reach such a horrifying point? The deeper truth is still waiting to emerge.

A 24-Year-Old MBA Student. A Locked Room. And Questions That Still Remain
A 24-year-old MBA student in Indore went to meet her classmate and boyfriend, Piyush Dhamnotiya, on February 10. She never returned home.
According to police, CCTV showed the two entering his rented accommodation in Dwarkapuri. Around two and a half hours later, Dhamnotiya was allegedly seen leaving alone with a bag.
That night, messages were reportedly sent from the woman’s phone, while objectionable videos involving her were circulated in a college WhatsApp group. Her family subsequently reported her missing.
On February 13, neighbours alerted police after noticing a foul smell from the locked accommodation. Police entered and found the woman’s body inside.
Investigators allege that an argument preceded the killing and that Dhamnotiya strangled her before fleeing Indore. Police also say his movements took him toward Mumbai and Panvel, where he allegedly attempted occult rituals to “summon” the victim’s spirit.
He was arrested in Andheri on February 14 and brought back to Indore for questioning.
The investigation continues to examine the messages and videos sent from the victim’s phone, the missing-person complaint timeline, CCTV footage and other evidence. Police say Dhamnotiya gave investigators multiple versions of events, including claims that he suspected she was communicating with another man.
All allegations remain subject to investigation and legal proceedings.
