Gopi is troubled because he keeps receiving wrong-number calls on his landline, and whenever he tries to call someone, he ends up dialing a wrong number as well. One day, another call comes in, and Sam answers it. When Sam says, “Wrong number!”, the caller starts speaking in Tamil. Sam doesn’t understand Tamil, but he does manage to gather that the caller is talking about a contract killing.

Since Sam’s landlord is a Tamilian, he seeks his help. A list of names, addresses, coded phone calls, and silent deals gradually reveal that this is no ordinary hit job, but an extremely clever conspiracy.

As they follow the trail, they encounter multiple players—middlemen, informants, and individuals who seem connected yet unaware of the full picture. Some are driven by money, others by fear. There are hints of large sums being exchanged, secret deals, and a powerful figure pulling the strings from behind the curtain. Every lead raises more questions: Who is the real target? Why spread the news of death before the act? And who benefits from this elaborate deception?

Time is running out. The lines between victim and suspect begin to blur, and even those who appear innocent might be part of the conspiracy. Sam realizes that this isn’t a straightforward case—it’s a carefully designed game where every move has already been anticipated. And somewhere within this maze of lies and half-truths, a life hangs in the balance… possibly already marked for death.

गोपी परेशान है उसके लैंड्लाइन फोन पर बार बार रौंग नंबर के फोन आते हैं और जब वो किसी को फोन मिलता है तो भी रौंग नंबर लग जाता है। इसी बीच एक फोन आता है जिसको सैम उठता है। सैम जब बोलता है “रौंग नंबर!” तो फोन करने वाला तमिल भाषा मे कुछ बोलता चला जाता है। सैम को तमिल तो समझ नहीं आती मगर ये जरूर समझ आ जाता है की फोन करने वाला किसी सुपारी की बात कर रहा था।

सैम का मकान-मालिक एक तमिलियन है इसलिए सैम उसकी सहायता लेता है। नामों की सूची, पते, कोडेड फोन कॉल्स और खामोश सौदे। धीरे-धीरे साफ होता है कि यह कोई साधारण सुपारी नहीं है, बल्कि एक बेहद चालाक साजिश है।

जासूस सैम डिसिल्वा और उसका साथी गोपी इस रहस्य के टुकड़ों को जोड़ने की कोशिश करते हैं। शुरुआत में सब कुछ उलझा हुआ लगता है—अजीब फोन कॉल्स, भटकाने वाले सुराग और ऐसे लोग जो खुद भी पूरी सच्चाई नहीं जानते। लेकिन जैसे-जैसे तहकीकात आगे बढ़ती है, यह समझ आता है कि यह सुपारी सिर्फ किसी को मारने के लिए नहीं है, बल्कि सच को छुपाने और सबूतों को उलझाने के लिए रची गई है।
