Gauri wants to kill her brother, Shirish Bhagwe. She plans to poison the fish curry prepared for him. On the day of the incident, her mother asks her to accompany her to the temple. Gauri tells her mother to leave first while she prepares fish curry and rice for Shirish before joining her at the temple.
While returning from the temple, Gauri is convinced that Shirish must have died after consuming the poisoned meal. However, when she and her mother reach home, they find Shirish unconscious in the bathroom. They rush him to the hospital, where doctors declare him dead on arrival.
The doctor initially suspects that Shirish died after consuming poisonous alcohol with his meal. Gauri knows the real reason behind his death, but the case takes an unexpected turn when police learn that three other young men have also died under similar circumstances.
Investigators discover that all three victims were close friends of Shirish and had consumed the same food and drinks at his house shortly before their deaths.
गौरी एक तलाकशुदा महिला है जो अपनी शादी टूटने के बाद अपनी माँ और भाई शिरीष के साथ रहती है। वह एक कूरियर कंपनी में नौकरी करती है और परिवार की अकेली कमाने वाली सदस्य है। एक दिन वह अपने भाई शिरीष को मारने की योजना बनाती है। जब उसकी माँ उसे मंदिर चलने के लिए कहती है, तो वह कहती है कि पहले शिरीष के लिए फिश-करी बनाएगी और बाद में मंदिर पहुँचेगी।
उसकी माँ मंदिर के लिए निकल जाती है। गौरी फिश-करी बनाते समय उसमें ज़हर मिला देती है और शिरीष को खाना देकर मंदिर चली जाती है। पूरे समय उसके मन में यही चलता रहता है कि शिरीष अब तक मर चुका होगा।
मंदिर से लौटने पर दोनों को शिरीष बाथरूम में बेहोश पड़ा मिलता है। पड़ोसियों की मदद से उसे अस्पताल ले जाया जाता है, जहाँ डॉक्टर उसे मृत घोषित कर देते हैं। डॉक्टर का शुरुआती अनुमान होता है कि शिरीष की मृत्यु जहरीली शराब पीने से हुई है।
गौरी की साजिश सफल हो चुकी है, लेकिन मामला तब और उलझ जाता है जब पता चलता है कि शिरीष के अलावा उसके तीन दोस्तों की भी ठीक इसी तरह मौत हो गई है। पुलिस का पहला शक जहरीली शराब पर जाता है। पुलिस संबंधित शराब की दुकान पर छापा मारती है, दुकान बंद करवाती है और शराब के नमूनों को जांच के लिए भेज देती है।
